Almost another month since the last post. Quite a bit has happened since. For one thing, Gander and I have passed the Delta Society evaluation, Woohoo! We are now qulaified to start visiting and do pet therapy work. However, when I took him to meet with Diane Rich to see where he is for doing hospital visits.... well, he is a long way from there!! Not a big deal, we will do group visit with the Reading with Rover crowd in North Seattle and also be the greeter team at public events until he is ready to be a reader dog.

Tonight is our first official visit to Northaven with RWR. Gander is quite tired from his day at Riverdog yesterday followed by class with Linda last night. I am taking him to Marymoor in a little while and then to the hospital to get a bath. He will be nice and mellow for the visit this evening.

Spent many hours on the computer in the past month since we got our media PC - sorting music in the libray. We now have over 100G of music (lots of stuff we will eventually delete) and we are expecting a few more new CD's in the mail. I just love having all the music at our finger tips!

Dan has done lots of hard work with the renovation - we have many new doors up and he has started on the trim. I think the most impressive work was the dutch door he made. We also got some new light fixtures. Inspired by the way they looked, Dan got made new screens to replace the plastic ones for the flourescent lights in the kitchen - and 'Wow!' is all I can say!

Well, time to get ready for the dog park. Pella window guy is coming this afternoon to give us an estimate for replacing the sliding doors. We shall see how that goes!

I have been so busy and tired in the last few weeks that I am glad I have postponed getting back into rowing.... I cannot face having to wake up at 4am!!

Completed the Pet Therapy Prep class with Gander and we will be evaluated next week. Got to work on his mouthing.... Binaca spray is needed and I think it will work! Mike baited him the other day just when he started getting mouthy, I squirted Binaca in his mouth - he did not like that a bit!!

He did quite well in Obedience Competition class last night and Linda thinks that he should be ok to attend a trial next month. I will go to the Seattle Kennel Club show to see how everything is done and then I will sign up for the Washington State Obedience Training Club show later in the month.

For now, I will work on his Delta Society cert and then worry about the rest later.... my life really revolves around my dog!!
